Update from Marilyn re: her mom, Carolyn, who was diagnosed with breast cancer:

The oncologist doesn’t think my mom could handle chemo . 1. The kidney function and 2. Her age. Says people lose sensation in hands and feet and can fall a lot. Also said that she wouldn’t be the same after chemo because of her age as well. She said that my mom would become more frail and would be tired all the time so she wants her to go the radiation route for 4 weeks. Said it’s an invasive form of cancer but feels that for my mom radiation is the way To go with regular follow ups
